The Nature of Yoga is a path of discovering the natural in oneself. Susanne Daeppen shares her insights from the source of Heart of Yoga, where devotion to the breath serves as our guide, allowing the practice to be vital, intimate, and in the moment; all the while avoiding excess. The simplicity of a nourishing yoga practice grants revitalizing energy for our daily lives and opens the heart for love and wisdom, offering unlimited depth to the quality of our lives – Yoga is pure enjoyment! ABOUT SUSANNE
Susanne is a certified Yoga teacher in the heart of Yoga. She is also a dance instructor and choreographer. Her Yoga and dance projects come under the name ‘Dakini Yoga and Dance Projects’.
She has trained in Switzerland, New York and Japan with renowned teachers of Butoh such as Kazuo Ohno and Eiko & Koma. Her main instructor in Yoga has been Mark Whitwell.
Susanne teaches the heart of Yoga and Butoh/Souldance regularly in several Swiss cities, and performs and offers international workshops in Italy, Iceland, New York and Germany.
Through her passion for exploration in slow-movement and mindfulness she has been able to consistently bring life to new visions and projects.
For this dakini, the authenticity in the heart of Yoga and the truthfulness of the soul-dance are one and the same entity—two sides of a coin. They belong together in mutual enrichment, providing us with boundless inspiration.
